For over 7 years, we've been working for international luxury hotels in other agencies. In that time we've spent £1.5M finding out what works and what doesn't. The objectives have included retaining more direct bookings, converting OTA traffic into direct bookings, increasing RevPAR, and generating new business with non-brand bookings.
PPC for Hotels is a UK-based Google Ads Qualified team based mainly in Colchester and Cambridge in the UK. We've been managing Google Ads client accounts since 2005 when it was still called Google AdWords. We started our first agency in 2007. It was called 'On Page One' and it still exists today, retaining its first client. In 2015 we opened our second agency in Colchester, 'Advertising Forensics' - focusing on premium and luxury niches. Successes followed, mainly with 5-star London hotels and some international luxury travel operators.
When the hospitality sector collapsed in early 2020, we started to work on what would come next with the COVID recovery, and 'PPC for Hotels' was born.
